Ambassador Nakashima Participates Online in Workshop on Taiz Development Plan Review and Assessment

On May 12th, Ambassador Nakashima participated online in a workshop on the review and assessment of Taiz Governorate’s Economic and Social Development Plan for 2024–2025 and the identification of priority interventions for 2026–2027.
In his remarks, Ambassador Nakashima reaffirmed Japan’s continued commitment to supporting Yemen and emphasized the importance of investing in youth through support for the education and vocational training sectors as a key to achieving sustainable recovery and economic development. He also expressed his hope that the workshop would contribute to generating practical solutions to the challenges facing the governorate.
