Ambassador Nakashima Holds Online Meeting with Minister of Interior

On May 4, Ambassador Yoichi Nakashima held an online meeting with Major General Ibrahim Ali Haidan, Minister of Interior of Yemen.
They exchanged views on Japan’s support for the Ministry of Interior and recent security developments in Aden. They also confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity and criminal investigation.
Ambassador Nakashima reiterated Japan’s commitment to continuing its support for efforts to enhance security and stability in Yemen.
