Job Opening for Ambassador’s Executive Secretary
The Embassy of Japan in Yemen, which is temporarily located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking one employee (who preferably already has resident and work permit in Saudi Arabia) to work as Ambassador’s executive secretary. Details are as follows:
1. Job Description
Secretarial work for Ambassador
2. Working Days and Hours
(1) Working Days: Sunday through Thursday
(2) Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
*9:00 AM to 2:00 PM during Ramadan
(3) Off Days: Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays designated by the Embassy
3. Probationary Period
There will be a two-month probationary period. Successful completion of this period will lead to an employment contract.
4. Employment Period
Oct 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027 (the term is renewable every three months. The decision to renew the contract will be made based on performance evaluations.)
5. Salary.
It will be determined based on relevant experience.
6. Requirements

Eligible to stay and work in Saudi Arabia.

Ability to work in English and Arabic.

A certain amount of experience as secretary is desirable.

Ability to use Microsoft software.

8. Selection Process
(1) Initial Screening: Document Screening
(2) Secondary Screening: Only those who are shortlisted will be contacted and proceed to an interview test. The date and time of the test will be notified directly to those who pass the initial screening.
