Ambassador Nakashima's Visit to Aden and Presentation of Credentials

Ambassador Nakashima made a three-day visit to the city of Aden starting from July 15. During his stay, he formally presented his credentials as Japan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Yemen to Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council. He also held meetings with members of the Presidential Leadership Council, cabinet ministers, other senior government officials, and representatives of UN organizations. In addition, Ambassador Nakashima visited the Port of Aden, a key facility to which Japan has been providing support.
