On May 24, Ambassador Nakashima held a virtual meeting with Yemen's Industry Minister Mr. Mohammed Al-Ashwal to discuss ongoing arrangements for celebrating Yemen's Unity Day, Scheduled for May 28 at Expo 2025 in Osaka.

H.E. Mr.Al-Ashwal congratulated Japan on the success of Expo 2025 and expressed his gratitude for the support Yemen is receiving to prepare for its national event.
